Judgment

The petitioner is admittedly a ClassÂI officer. Therefore, the protection, otherwise available to the other sections of the employees of the State
Government in the “Comprehensive Guiding PrinciplesÂ2013†for regulating the transfer of the State Government employees, is not per se
available to ClassÂI post, that too to the rank of Tehsildar, which has an important function in the State Government.
2 The petitioner has been transferred from Baijnath (Kangra) to Salooni (Chamba) and is probably avoiding his transfer only because he happens to be
a Temple Officer at Baijnath.
3 It has specifically come in the reply of the respondentsÂState that the transfer of the petitioner has been effected in view of the administrative
exigency and in public interest. There is nothing on record to controvert this submission of the respondentsÂState.
4 Consequently, we find no merit in the instant petition and the same is accordingly dismissed, so also the pending application(s), if any, leaving the
parties to bear their own costs.
