Judgment
Alok Singh, J.—This is an application seeking anticipatory bail in case FIR No. 39 dated 4.8.2010 under Sections 454/380/420/406/10-B IPC, Police Station Maqboolpura, District Amritsar.
This Court vide order dated 7.4.2011 has directed to release the Petitioner on interim bail.
Mr. K.D. Sachdeva, learned Additional Advocate General, Punjab, on instructions from SI Baldev Singh, who is personally present in Court, states that Petitioner has not joined the investigation despite of order dated 7.4.2011.
Learned Counsel for the Petitioner states that Petitioner shall join investigation within 10 days.
No explanation is given by learned Counsel for the Petitioner as to why Petitioner has failed to join the investigation despite of direction dated 7.4.2011. Keeping in mind he/she, who seeks equity must come to Court with clean hands, Petitioner is not entitled for discretionary relief of anticipatory bail.
Considering totality of the facts and circumstances of the case, petition is dismissed. Order dated 7.4.2011 stands revoked.
