Parvez and Others vs State of Haryana and Another

Gurdev Singh, J.—This petition u/s 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure (hereinafter referred to as ""Cr.P.C."") has been filed by Parvez

and others, petitioners, for quashing the FIR registered under Sections 498-A, 406, 506 IPC (Annexure P-1), on the basis of the compromise

dated 29.3.2011 (Annexure P-2), which has been entered into by the petitioners with the complainant-respondent No. 2, Yasmin, who got lodged

the said FIR.

The report of the trial court was called as to whether the parties have voluntarily entered into such a compromise and that report was to be

submitted after recording the statements of the parties. The report of the trial court has been received. As per that report the statements of the

parties were recorded, who filed compromise, Ex. C-1, and the matter has already been amicably settled between them. It has been brought to the

notice of this Court that respondent No. 2, Yasmin, has started living happily with Parvez, petitioner No. 1.

In view of the compromise, so entered into between the parties, and that the husband and wife have started living together happily, the FIR,

mentioned above, and all the subsequent proceedings arising therefrom are hereby quashed.
