Learned counsel for the applicant submits that the applicant is working as a Helper in the respondents department and regularized in the year 1995. He further submits that the applicant has qualified the Trade Test, Practical Test as well as Talim Test along with other persons namely Mr. Mohammad Sadiq and Mrs. Zubeida Jan who are juniors to the applicant and they have been given the post of in-charge Assistant Craftsman in the Department.

Learned counsel for the applicant submits that juniors to the applicant have been given in-charge promotion without considering the case of the applicant though she has already qualified the Trade Test, Practical Test as well as Talim Test. He submits that the applicant has not been even promoted on in-charge basis. He submits that it will be suffice if the direction is issued to the respondents to reconsider the case of the applicant for promotion to the post of Assistant Craftsman on in-charge basis as her juniors have been promoted.

In view of the limited prayer made by the learned counsel for the applicant, respondents are directed to reconsider the case of the applicant for promotion to the post of Assistant Craftsman on in-charge basis as her juniors have been already promoted to the said post. This exercise is to be done within two weeks from today.

With this T.A. No. 1366/2021 is disposed of accordingly.
