Judgment

The grievance of the petitioner is that being a minor, her parents i.e. respondent Nos. 6 & 7 are forcibly trying to solemnize her marriage contrary to her wishes as well as contrary to law. The petitioner has raised an apprehension of harassment at the hands of private respondents.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that a direction may be issued to respondent No. 4 i.e. Sr. Superintendent of Police, Reasi to ensure that the marriage of the petitioner be not solemnized contrary to her wishes and further that the respondent Nos. 6 & 7 be directed not to harass the petitioner.
Mr. Raman Sharma, learned AAG is not averse to the same.
Having regard to the relief sought in the writ petition and submissions made at Bar, this petition can be and is disposed of with a direction to respondent No. 4 to ensure that the marriage of the petitioner be not solemnized against her wishes. He shall also ensure that no harassment shall be caused to the petitioner at the hands of private respondents.
In view of the urgency expressed, copy of this order be issued to the learned counsel for the petitioner under the seal and signatures of the Bench Secretary-cum-Additional Registrar.
