Jasjit Singh Bedi, J
The prayer in the petition under Section 438 Cr.PC is for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioners in case FIR No.0143 dated 07.11.l2022 registered under Sections 458, 323, 427, 506, 148, 149 IPC registered at P.S. Ahmedgarh, District Malerkotla.
Learned Counsel for the petitioners submits that pursuant to the interim order dated 28.11.2023 passed by this Court, petitioners have joined the investigation.
The learned State Counsel has filed short reply by way of affidavit of Mr. Davinder Singh, DSP, Sub Division, Ahmedgarh, District Malerkotla in court today which is taken on record and on instructions from ASI Amrik Singh that the petitioners have joined investigation in terms of orders dated 28.11.2023 and are not required for custodial interrogation.
In this view of the matter, interim order dated 28.11.2023 is made absolute.
However, the petitioners shall keep on joining the investigation as and when required to do so and they shall abide by the conditions as envisaged under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C. Petition stands disposed of.
