Judgment
Arindam Lodh, J
Heard Mr. Somik Deb, learned senior counsel appearing for the petitioner. Also heard Mr. Ratan Datta, learned counsel appearing for respondents no.1 and 2 and Mr. B. Debbarma, learned counsel appearing for respondent no.3.
Mr. Deb, learned senior counsel has submitted that the matter relates to cancellation of SC certificate. It is further submitted that the other brothers and sister of the petitioner had filed writ petitions challenging the order of cancellation of SC certificate in favour of them which were allowed by this Court.
The respondents-State preferred intra-court appeal which was also dismissed. Thereafter, the respondents-State preferred SLP before the Hon’ble Supreme Court. It is submitted that the said SLP has also been dismissed.
In view of this, the matter is squarely covered by the decision of this Court passed in WP(C) No.461 of 2021 and other connected writ petitions titled as Smt. Pratima Sarkar vs. The State of Tripura & Ors.
Mr. Debbarma, learned counsel for respondent no.3 has submitted that he will go through the said decision and accordingly, he prays for some accommodation to argue the case.
Prayer stands allowed.
