The petitioners/A1 & A2, who apprehend arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 465, 467, 468, 471, 406 and 420 IPC in Crime No.37 of 2020 on the file of the respondent police, seek anticipatory bail.
2.The case of the prosecution is that the defacto complainant had purchased the land in S.No.331/2 in Melur Village with a house. On 20.02.2004, a power of attorney deed was executed in favour of A1 and the same was cancelled in the year 2016. Suppressing the cancellation, A1 sold some portion of the land to A3 on 11.03.2019 by producing bogus life certificate dated 10.03.2019. Hence, the case.
3.On 31.12.2020, this Court granted interim anticipatory bail to the petitioners and referred the issue before the District Legal Services Authority, Madurai District for mediation.
4.Now the matter is settled between the parties and hence, the interim anticipatory bail already granted to the petitioners on 31.12.2020, is hereby made absolute.
