Seeking issuance of directions to respondents No.1 to 3 for getting the investigation conducted by a senior officer in fair and impartial manner, in FIR No.81 dated 30.04.2018 registered under Sections 406/120 IPC at Police Station North Chandigarh, District Chandigarh, the petitioner had come up before this Court.
Reply on behalf of the State has been filed and the same is taken on record. Counsel for the UT Chandigarh, by making reference to the reply, submits that investigation has already been completed and report under Section 173 CrPC, has already been filed against the accused persons who are proclaimed persons. Therefore, petitioners' prayer has been redressed rendering the present petition infructuous.
Given the submission of counsel for the UT, the present petition is disposed of as having rendered infructuous. Pending applications, if any, stand disposed of. Liberty reserved to the petitioners to file appropriate application before the trial Court, if any need so arise.
