Judgment
Learned counsel for the parties submit that service in some of these special leave petitions is not yet complete. The Registry shall verify and convey the deficiencies in service to counsel concerned who shall then take steps for service of the notices upon the unserved respondents in the respective petitions/appeals.
Learned counsel for the parties, further submits that the entire batch of cases arises out of acquisition made in four different villages and that instead of completing the paper books in regard to all the petitions it would be convenient for all concerned to complete the pleadings and filing of papers in two cases from each such village, which shall then be treated as lead cases.
Mr. R.P. Bhatt, learned senior counsel appearing for the petitioners and Mr. Dinesh Dewedi, learned senior counsel appearing for the petitioners in cross appeals/petitions may also undertake a similar exercise and identify cases that could be treated as lead cases to avoid unnecessary delay in the disposal of these matters.
The needful shall be done in terms of the above expeditiously but not later than six weeks.
