Judgment
Rajan Gupta, J.—The petitioners have filed this petition u/s 482 Cr.P.C. seeking protection, as they apprehend danger to their life and liberty at the hands of respondents No. 4 and 5.
The petitioners claim that both of them are major and married each other against the wishes of their parents. Reliance is placed on judgment reported as Fiaz Ahanger and Ors. v. State of J & K 2009 (3) RCR (Civil) 217.
Learned Counsel for the petitioners submits that proof of marriage is not available with the petitioners as they apprehend danger to their life.
Notice of motion to official respondents.
On asking of the Court Mr. K.S. Pannu, Deputy Advocate General, Punjab accepts notice. He submits that representation submitted by the petitioner shall be looked into by the Senior Superintendent of Police, Kapurthala.
In view of above, no further orders are required to be passed in this case.
