Judgment
ORDER
The present intra-court appeal is directed against the order of learned Single Judge dated 18.08.2026, by which the writ petition filed by the petitioner seeking a high level inquiry in respect of the action of the authorities in permitting change of name of respondent nos.6 and 7 in the revenue records, has been dismissed observing that in garb of getting the inquiry done by order of this Court, the petitioner is seeking to settle personal scores inasmuch civil litigation is pending between the parties.
Shri T.A. Khan, learned Senior Counsel appearing for the appellant prays for withdrawal of the appeal with liberty to the appellant to approach the concerned authority, which had permitted change in name in the Pariwar Register.
Accordingly, the appeal is dismissed with liberty to the appellant to approach the authorities, if so advised.
