Judgment
This Court has considered the submissions and suggestions and hereby issues the following directions:
(i) The Delhi Traffic Police shall ensure that no vehicles of any kind whatsoever are parked on Sher Shah Road, hereafter. Police shall take all steps necessary to clear the cars which are parked regardless of their owners (litigants, officials or lawyers). This direction shall be implemented immediately upon expiry of a week.
(ii) Among the class of litigants, the officials who visit or attend the Court, should be made aware of the possibility of parking their vehicles in the Underground Automated Parking Lot, so that they use the facility.
(iii) Every endeavour should be made by the Bar Association to ensure that there is no parking around the vicinity of High Court.
(iv) The High Court Establishment shall consider the feasibility of providing a technical solution, for the problem of parking for automatic transmission vehicles having regard to the facilities available in the Underground Automated Parking Lot.
(v) The Delhi Police shall ensure that manual transmission vehicles are parked as far as possible - capacity permitting, within the Underground Automated Parking Lot.
(vi) A suggestion was made by the Bar Association that open stack parking of the kind used in Rohini, may be considered - though in a limited manner. The High Court Establishment shall consider the feasibility of adopting this for appropriate use.

The concerned Director/Official-in-Charge of the Medical Centre of the Delhi High Court shall be present in Court on the next date of hearing.
Fresh status reports with respect to the traffic position shall be filed by the Principal Judge incharge of each District Court complex.
