Judgment

The petitioners are candidates for the posts of Post Graduate Teacher advertised by the State of Haryana. Petitioner No.1 is a candidate in the subject of Chemistry and petitioner No.2 is a candidate in the subject of mathematics. The results of certain candidates including the petitioners were declared by the concerned University on a confidential basis and based thereupon their candidature was considered for the said posts. This was challenged before this Court where they have succeeded and the Haryana Staff Selection Commission is now before the Hon'ble Apex Court in SLP. Vide order dated 27.11.2018, the Hon'ble Apex Court has directed 90 posts to be kept vacant and appointments made to be subject to the final outcome of the SLP.
The grievance of the petitioners is that subsequently, on 27.12.2018, the Haryana Staff Selection Commission has declared the result but has not kept 90 posts vacant.
Admittedly, the petitioners are represented through counsel before the Hon'ble Apex Court being party-respondents. Thus, in case there is a violation of order dated 27.11.2018, the petitioners have the remedy of approaching the Hon'ble Apex Court. The present petition is not maintainable. Thus, the writ petition is dismissed being not maintainable.
