Kurian Joseph, C.J.—The writ petition is filed with the following prayers:

(i) That an appropriate order, direction and writ in the form of writ of certiorari and mandamus be issued and the respondents be directed to continue the petitioner in the course of B. Ed/Shiksha Shastri, in which the petitioner was/is admitted.

(ii) The respondents may kindly be directed to pay an amount of Rs. 5 lacs as compensation to the petitioner for the mental torture, tension, harassment caused to the petitioner on account of their illegal and arbitrary acts.

2.

It is seen from the reply that the petitioner did not actually fulfil the required percentage of 50% for admission. It is also seen from the reply that though the initial notification carried a mistake, but the same was corrected much prior to the test. In that view of the matter, we do not find any merit in the writ petition since the petitioner does not fulful the required qualification. Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed, so also the pending applications, if any.
