Petitioner is before this Court seeking extension of parole, granted to her son, for a further period of 45 days.
Heard Sri Nagendra B, learned counsel appearing for petitioner and Sri Rahul Cariappa, learned Additional Government Advocate appearing for respondents.
The petitioner had approached this Court in W.P.No.9834 of 2025, seeking general parole to the convict/her son on the ground that convict is suffering from kidney ailment. This Court, in terms of its order dated 02.04.2025, had granted general parole to the petitioner for a period of 30 days, on certain conditions, which would expire on 03.05.2025,.
Petitioner is now seeking extension of parole for another 45 days on the ground that the convict/her son, has been operated for kidney stone and the doctor has advised him rest.
In view of the same, I deem it appropriate to extend the general parole granted to the son of the petitioner for a further period of 30 days, from 03.05.2025, with the very same conditions, as were imposed earlier.
Accordingly, petition stands disposed.
