P. Kalaiselvi vs The Director, The Teacher Recruitment Board, The District Collector and The District Employment Officer

P. Jyothimani, J.—This writ petition is filed for a direction against the District Employment Officer to sponsor her name to the post of Physical Education Teacher for the year 2009-2010 to be sponsored to the first Respondent. By an interim order, dated 23.12.2009, this Court has directed the Respondents to keep one post of Physical Education Teacher vacant, provided there is any vacancy existing as on date.

Learned Additional Government Pleader would submit that the name of the Petitioner has not been sponsored since the recruitment for the year 2009-2010 has already been completed. However, for the subsequent recruitment, if vacancy called for, the name of the Petitioner will be considered for the purpose of sponsoring.

Recording the said statement of the learned Additional Government Pleader, the writ petition stands closed. It is made clear that the third Respondent shall sponsor the name of the Petitioner when the vacancy arises for the post of Physical Education Teacher. No. costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
