The grievance of the petitioners in these writ petitions are two fold; firstly, regarding the alleged mismanagement and misappropriation in the Society, especially regarding the purchase of a land; the second issue relates to the decision of the Society on a disciplinary proceeding against the Secretary of the Society.
Heard the learned counsel on both sides and also the learned Senior Government Pleader.
The learned Senior Government Pleader, on instructions submits that, Section 65 proceedings have already been commenced on the subject of the complaint of the petitioner. In view thereof, the first grievance of the petitioner is addressed. Necessarily, the said proceedings shall be taken to a logical conclusion by the authorities.
As regards the second grievance voiced, the petitioners have a remedy before the Co-operative Arbitration Court under Section 69 of the Act. The said right of the petitioners is left open.
In the light of the above, no further orders are called for in these writ petitions. The writ petitions are disposed of as above.
