T.R. Ramachandran Nair, J.—The only direction sought for is to dispose of Ext.P6 revision petition, within a time frame, by the first respondent. The petitioner is working as High School Assistant (Hindi) in the school managed by the fourth respondent. The petitioner commenced service as Junior Hindi Teacher on 02/06/1997 and was promoted as H.S.A (Hindi) on 06/06/2001. It is submitted that the fifth respondent is working as H.S.A. (Maths) in the same school. She commenced her service from 01/07/1984 and was deployed on protection from 14/07/1987 to 10/11/1999. The issue that is raised is the claim for protection as a vacancy arose on 01/04/2010.

2.

Ext. P6 revision petition is filed against Ext.P5 order passed by the Deputy Director of Education. Therein, the appeal filed by the petitioner was rejected finding that the fifth respondent is a rightful claimant.I am not going into the merits of the matter since the petitioner is only seeking for a direction to the Director of Public Instruction to take an appropriate decision on Ext.P6, on merits. Accordingly, the writ petition is W.P.(C). No.6902/2012 disposed of directing the first respondent to take a decision on Ext.P6 revision petition after hearing the petitioner and respondent Nos.4 and 5 within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this Judgment. The writ petition is disposed of as above. No costs.

The petitioner will produce a copy of the writ petition along with a certified copy of the Judgment before the first respondent for compliance.
