Judgment
J.R. Midha, J.—Learned Counsel for the appellant submits that he shall be filing the affidavit during the course of the day with advance copy to the Amicus Curiae who may file the response to the affidavit within ten days.
Without prejudice to the issues raised by the appellant, it would be proper to issue notice to the Life Insurance Corporation of India, Reserve Bank of India, State Bank of India and Punjab National Bank to formulate a special scheme for the victims of the road accident with a higher interest rate; issuance of pass book of deposit to the claimants; automatic renewal of fixed deposit; monthly interest to the victims; withdrawal of amount after due verification as in pension accounts and sending the half-yearly statements to the Tribunal.
Let the Court notices be issued to the RBI through its nominated counsel Mr. H.S. Parihar; LIC through its nominated counsel Mr. Kamal Mehta; SBI through its nominated counsel R.P. Kapoor and Company; and PNB through its nominated counsel Mr. Jagdeep Kishore.
Renotify on 8th May, 2009 at 12.30PM.
Copy of this order be given ''Dasti'' to learned Counsel for both the parties and the amicus curiae under signatures of Court Master.
