Learned Standing Counsel , who represents respondent nos. 1 to 6 and 8 and Sri V.K.Singh, who represents respondent no. 7, they pray for and are granted three weeks'' time to file Counter affidavit .
Rejoinder affidavit may be filed within two weeks thereafter.

The contention of the petitioner is that the petitioners have been granted patta and are bhumidhars of nontransferable rights since 2002. However, the officers of the forest department are interfering in the possession of the petitioners and are destroying the crops. As the patta are not yet cancelled, the orders are yet to be passed.
As an interim measure, it is provided that status quo regarding possession , as of date on the plot in question shall be maintained by the parties hereto. However, this order will not come in the way of the petitioners from cutting their standing crops on the plots in question . This order shall remain operative till the next date of listing.
