Judgment
S.V.Bhatti, J
The contempt case is filed complaining disobedience of judgment in Annexure A1 dated 10.01.2020. The operative portion of the order reads thus:
“a) The petitioner files a copy of this judgment along with Ext.P9 before respondents 1 and 2within one week from today.
b) Respondents 1 and 2 consider and dispose of Ext.P9 in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within eight weeks from the date of receipt of
a copy of this judgment.â€
The disobedience complained by the petitioner is that, firstly, the representation is not disposed of within the time stipulated by this Court, and,
secondly, even if the representation is disposed, the benefits of such decision are not made over to the petitioner.
Government Pleader Vidya Kuriakose, referring to instructions, informed the Court that the representation has been disposed of, consequential
steps are also taken in this behalf, needful would be done within four weeks from today.
After appreciating the statement made by the Government Pleader, I am satisfied that the contempt case need not be kept pending.
Contempt case is closed accordingly.
