In these two writ petitions, the petitioners have prayed that the respondents be directed to consider the cases of the petitioners for promotion to the post of Block Extension Educator.
Return has been filed by the respondents / State stating inter alia in paragraph 6 as under: -
“6. That the formation of the new Rules is under process and not yet finalized, therefore as per order of Hon’ble Court State Government yet not going ahead with the promotion to the post of BEEA and as soon as the exercise of framing new Rules is complete case of each individual will be considered as per new Rules and State Government will pass appropriate orders.”
In view of the above, if the new Rules have been finalised by the State Government, cases of the petitioners will be considered, if not already considered, as stated in paragraph 6 of the return filed on behalf of the State/ respondents.
With the aforesaid observation and direction, both the writ petitions are finally disposed of. No order as to cost(s).
