Judgment
H.S. Thangkhiew, J
The petitioner’s grievance is with regard to the non-allotment of government married accommodation by the respondents as per his entitlement. It is stated that the petitioner is entitled to Type-II quarters and had applied for allotment of Quarter No. SP-28 (Type-II) at Happy Valley but the same was rejected by respondent No. 3 on the ground that the said quarter is Type-III which the petitioner is not entitled to. It is further contended however that the said quarter is not Type-III but Type-II.
Mr. R.Debnath, learned CGC for the respondents in reply submits that there is no quarrel with regard to the entitlement of the petitioner to a Type-II government married accommodation. He further submits that the petitioner will be allotted an accommodation as per his entitlement subject to availability in any certain area, and that the petitioner is at liberty to inspect the areas where Type-II quarters are available.
In view of the submission of the learned CGC, the instant petition is closed and stands disposed of, however, with a direction to the respondents to allot a quarter as per entitlement to the petitioner within a period of one month from today subject to the petitioner’s cooperation.
