Judgment
The appeal is filed against the order dated 10.01.2018 in W.P.(C) No.26094 of 2016. By the said order, the learned single Judge has extended the time for laying final charge in the cases, which is the subject matter of the writ petition, till 10.03.2018.
We heard the learned counsel for the appellant, the Senior Counsel appearing for the sixth respondent, the learned Senior Government Pleader and the learned counsel appearing for Union of India.
A reading of the impugned order would show that the order has been passed after referring to paragraph 22 of the Status Report filed by the Investigating Officer. This order, by itself, has not caused any prejudice to the appellant to impugn the same in this appeal. However, it appears that the appellant has a case that several contentions urged by him were not considered by the learned single Judge. From the order impugned, we do not find that any such contention has been noticed by the learned single Judge.
In the circumstances, if it is the grievance of the appellant that the contentions urged by him were not considered by the learned single Judge, the remedy available to him is to seek review of the order impugned.
Subject to the above observation, the appeal is dismissed.
