Judgment
Vinod Chandran, J
The petitioner is the appellant/accused, who is convicted under Sections 302, 324, 440 and 449 of IPC. The petitioner seeks for interim bail for a
period of three weeks on the ground that the petitioner is the only son of aged parents who are suffering from multiple ailments.
On a similar application, the petitioner/ appellant was granted interim bail in December, 2020. Considering the instant application and the reasons
stated therein, we are of the opinion that the petitioner can be granted interim bail for a period of three weeks from the date of his release on the
following conditions:
The petitioner/appellant shall be released on interim bail on executing a bond for Rs.50,000/-(Rupees fifty thousand only) with two solvent sureties for the like sum
to the satisfaction of the trial Court.
From the date of his release, he shall appear before the Police Station concerned on every third day between 9.00 a.m. and 10.00 a.m.
On the date on which three weeks period expires, he shall report before the Superintendent, Central Prison concerned at 10.00 a.m.
He shall not involve in any office while on bail.
When the petitioner/appellant is ultimately sentenced to life imprisonment or for a term, the time during which he is so released shall be excluded in computing the
terms of his sentence as provided in Section 389(4) Cr.P.C.
