Judgment
Petitioner had filed WPSS No. 691 of 2016 seeking compassionate appointment. The said writ petition was allowed vide judgment dated 24.04.2017 and respondents were directed to consider claim of the petitioner for compassionate appointment.
Mr. Pradeep Hairiya, learned Standing Counsel appearing for the opposite parties has produced in Court an order passed by Regional Additional Director, Elementary Education, Nainital on 30.12.2019, which is taken on record.
Perusal of the said order indicates that petitioner has been appointed in Block Bhasiachana, District Almora as Assistant Teacher, Government Primary School.
Since compliance of the order has been made, therefore, nothing survives in this contempt petition.
Accordingly, contempt petition is dismissed. Notices issued to the opposite parties are hereby discharged.
