This is a civil writ petition filed under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a writ, order or direction especially in the nature of certiorari to set aside the orders / letters dated 06.11.2018 and 13.11.2018 (Annexure P-5/5-A) and order dated 02.06.2020 (Annexure P-6) passed by the respondents. Other prayers have also been made in the present writ petition.
Learned State counsel has referred to a letter dated 15.06.2023, a copy of which has been taken on record as Mark A along with other documents submitted and as per which, letter dated 06.11.2018 which provided for filing application for review in Form II has been withdrawn and it has further been stated that it would be open to the schools to apply for review of recognition on New Online Application developed under the Online Portal for private schools instead of applying in Form II. It is submitted that in view of the same, the present petition has been rendered infructuous.
Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that in view of the said letter dated 15.06.2023 and the statement made by learned State counsel, the present petition be disposed of as having been rendered infructuous, at this stage.
