Judgment

Heard Mr. A. Gaokar under Legal Aid Scheme for the petitioner and Mr. S.G. Bhobe, Public Prosecutor for the State.
Mr. Bhobe points out that respondent nos.4 & 5 are present in the Court today.
Mr. Bhobe, based on instructions from respondent no.5, states that the respondent no.5 will forthwith issue the necessary 'No Objection Certificate' to the FRRO with respect to the exit permit to be issued to the petitioner so that the learned Single Judge's order dated 17.08.2022 in Criminal Writ Petition No.299/2022(F) is effectively complied with. In doing so, the FRRO's order dated 16.09.2022 shall not come in the way given the directions in the learned Single Judge's order dated 17.08.2022.
Once this NOC is received by the FRRO, the FRRO should also take emergent steps to ensure compliance with the learned Single Judge's order dated 17.08.2022.
The respondents to comply with the directions issued by the learned Single Judge in paragraph 5 of the order dated 17.08.2022, including forwarding details to the Investigating Officer.
Accordingly, we accept the statements made on behalf of respondents and direct the concerned respondents to act accordingly. This, according to us, redresses the petitioner's grievance substantially. The petition is, therefore, disposed of.
