This application has been filed by the writ petitioners praying for staying the advertisement dated 13th April, 2018 for filing up 9 number of post of Forest Rangers, advertisement dated 29th September, 2023 for filling up 14 number of post of Forest Rangers and advertisement dated 19th September, 2024 for filling up 5 number of post of Forest Rangers.
The main contention of the writ petitioner is that though the recruitment policy is in place with regard to selection of Forest Rangers, the respondent No. 3 had deviated from the same by holding a preliminary examination, wherein the Arithmetic Aptitude Test given therein is of very high standard wherein the petitioners would not be able to succeed and as such, be barred from sitting for the main examinations.
These submissions are noted.
It is also noted that in the main writ petition, the respondent No. 3 is yet to file the affidavit.
Mr. N.D.Chullai, learned AAG assisted by Ms. R.Colney, learned GA for the respondents No. 1 & 2 submits he may be given liberty to file objection to the prayer made in the Misc. application, if deemed necessary. Prayer is allowed.
