This is an application for regular bail moved by the accused in Crime No.407/2020 of Kalikavu Police Station in Malappuram district.

I heard the learned counsel on both sides.

The learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners were arrested on 18.10.2020 and were remanded on 19.10.2020 and that they

have completed 180 days remand in judicial custody, thus they have become entitled to get statutory bail enabling to move the Trial Court for getting

bail under Section 167(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure. In this circumstance, the learned counsel for the petitioners seeks permission to

withdraw the petition.

The petition is allowed to be withdrawn.

The counsel submitted that they intend to move application for statutory bail before the Trial Court tomorrow.

In that event, the learned Special Judge is requested to consider the application on the very day of moving the petition.

With the above observations, the petition is closed.
