Judgment
Heard learned counsel for the parties.
The present public interest litigation has been filed seeking a writ of mandamus directing respondent nos.2 to 4 to conduct a joint demarcation, spot inspection and verification of the revenue records of Gram Sabha land comprising of Khasra No.205, Khata No.00428, admeasuring 0.2120 hectare, situated at Village Jorasi Ahatmal, Tehsil Roorkee, District Haridwar and for other ancillary reliefs.
Learned State Counsel, on instructions from the concerned Tehsildar, states that the revenue authorities are taking appropriate measures to remove the unauthorized encroachments and secure the Gram Sabha land.
Learned counsel for the petitioner, on instructions from his client, also makes the same statement.
As the State-respondents have already initiated action for removal of the encroachments, demarcation and for securing Gram Sabha land, therefore, at this stage, the proceedings are closed.
Pending application, if any, also stands disposed of.
