The instant petition has been filed by the petitioner for the grant of following substantive relief:

(i) That the writ of mandamus may kindly be issued directing the respondents to adjust/transfer the petitioner in nearby stations of his native place

more particularly i.e. (I) GMS Kandbari (Kangra) (ii) GMS Bharyara U/c Chauntra (MND) and (iii) GMS Bindraban (Kangra) keeping in view the

peculiar family circumstances.â€​

The petitioner has been working in the hard/difficult area since 14.08.2017 and has completed his normal tenure of service there and is thus entitled

to be transferred to a soft area.

The petitioner has though made a representation to the respondents, but he has only mentioned three stations of his choice, whereas he is required

to setÂ​out five stations of his choice, one of which shall essentially be outside of his home District.

Therefore, in the given circumstances, we deem it proper to dispose of the instant writ petition by directing the petitioner to make a representation

clearly settingÂout therein the five stations of his choice, one of which shall essentially be outside of his home District. Needful be done within a

period of one week. In the event of the petitioner making a representation within the stipulated period, then the respondents shall consider and decide

the case of the petitioner and issue consequential order of his transfer within a period of next two weeks.

The petition is disposed of in the aforesaid terms, so also the pending miscellaneous application(s), if any.
