Judgment
Alok Kumar Verma, J
Present Writ Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India with the following prayers:-
“(i) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Certiorari to quash the impugned order Dated 24.09.2020 (Annexure No.1).
(ii) Issue any other writ, order or direction as this Hon’ble Court may deem fit in the circumstances of the case.
(iii) Award the cost of the petition.”
Heard Mr. Hari Mohan Bhatia, learned counsel for petitioner and Mr. Sanjay Bhatt, learned counsel for respondent.
Mr. Sanjay Bhatt, Advocate, submitted that the promotion of the petitioner shall be considered in accordance with rules within eight weeks’.
The said submission has not been opposed by the learned counsel for the petitioner.
With the consent of learned counsel for the parties, the present Writ Petition (S/S No.1115 of 2020) is disposed of directing the respondent to consider the case of promotion of the petitioner in accordance with relevant rules as expeditiously as possible but not later than eight weeks’ from the date of production of the certified copy of this order.
It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merit of this case.
