Judgment
Dr. Pushpendra Singh Bhati, J
This Court had passed the following order on 10.02.2023:
“Issue notice.
Mr. Pankaj Sharma, Additional Advocate General, present in Court is directed to accept notice on behalf of the respondents. He is directed to get the petitioner’s daughter namely Sukhvir Kaur examined through a Medical Board to be constituted by the Chief Medical & Health Officer, Sriganganagar.
It is directed that the petitioner’s daughter will appear before the Medical Board on or before 13.02.2023. The Medical Board is directed to examine the petitioner’s daughter and prepare a report with respect to the period of pregnancy and also state the fact about the safety of the petitioner’s daughter, if at all the pregnancy is to be terminated.
The Medical Board shall file the report before this Court on the next date of hearing.
List the matter on 15.02.2023.”
The Officer Incharge present in person submits that in pursuance to the order dated 10.02.2023 passed by this Court, the report reflects that termination of pregnancy will be safe.
The respondents are directed to immediately terminate the pregnancy with complete safety precautions. The Officer Incharge present shall communicate this order to the concerned authority and shall ensure that such procedure is completed as expeditiously as possible.
The present petition is disposed of accordingly. All pending applications stand disposed of.
