Since the issue involved in all the writ petitions is identical, the same are being decided by this common order.
Prayer in the present writ petitions is for issuance of an appropriate writ, order or direction, particularly a writ in the nature of Certiorari, for quashing the condition contained in the promotion order dated 26.05.2023 (Annexure P--6), whereby only notional benefits have been granted to the petitioners w.e.f. 20.01.2017 instead of actual benefits upon their promotion to the post of Assistant, as well as the impugned order dated 28.10.2024 (Annexure P-7), whereby the claim of the petitioners for release of arrears of salary has been rejected on untenable grounds by passing a non-speaking and unsustainable order, and further for issuance of a writ in the nature of Mandamus directing the respondents to release the arrears of salary to the petitioners on the post of Assistant w.e.f. 20.01.2017, i.e. the date of their promotion, along with interest, in accordance with law and in view of the judgment dated 21.01.2026 (Annexure P-8).
Learned counsel for the parties are ad idem that the issue involved in the present writ petitions stand(s) covered by the judgment rendered by a Co-ordinate Bench of this Court in Harvinder Kaur and others v. State of Haryana and another, passed in CWP No.26551 of 2025, decided on 21.01.2026 (Annexure P-8). It is accordingly prayed that the present writ petitions may be disposed of in terms of the said judgment.
Ordered accordingly.
