M. Sasidharan Nambiar, J.—Petitioner filed Exhibits P1 and P2 petitions before Special Judge (Vigilance), Thrissur for returning the documents seized from the office. This petition is filed under Article 227 of Constitution of India for a direction to the Special Judge to pass orders on Exhibits P1 and P2 expeditiously, within two months.

A report was called for from the Special Judge (Vigilance) as to why orders are not being passed on Exhibits P1 and P2 petitions. Learned Special Judge submitted a report on 23.9.2010 that his predecessor was transferred and notification empowering him to exercise the powers conferred under Prevention of Corruption Act is yet to be received.

Learned Public Prosecutor submitted that subsequently notification has been issued. Learned Counsel appearing for the Petitioner submitted that Exhibits P1 and P2 petitions were already heard and is posted for orders to 2.12.2010 by the learned Special Judge. In such circumstances, Special Judge (Vigilance), Thrissur is directed to pass orders on Exhibits P1 and P2 expeditiously.

Petition is disposed.
