Applicant Muneer Alam, who is in jail in connection with Crime No. 337/2010, relating to offences punishable u/s 452 and 307 IPC, Police Station Gangnahar, District Haridwar, has sought his release on bail.

Heard learned Counsel for the parties.

Learned Counsel for the applicant submitted that the injuries on the person of injured show that she had suffered injuries only in the forearm and armpit. It is further submitted there is no injury on the vital part of the injured. Learned Counsel for the applicant further submitted that there is no criminal history of the applicant.

In the above circumstances, without expressing any opinion as to the final merits of the case, this Court is of the view that the applicant deserves bail.

Let applicant Muneer Alam be released on bail on executing personal bond and furnishing each of like amount to the satisfaction two of sureties, Judicial Magistrate, Roorkee.

Bail application stands allowed.
