The instant criminal miscellaneous petition has been preferred by the petitioner seeking quashing of FIR No.179/2022, registered at Police Station Nai, Dist. Udaipur, for the offences under Sections 420, 419, 467, 468 and 471 of IPC.
Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case so also the accusation levelled against the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to quash the impugned FIR.
Faced with this situation, learned counsel for the petitioner does not press this criminal misc. petition but seeks liberty that the petitioner may be permitted to surrender before the trial court and file an application for bail.
Accordingly, the instant criminal misc. petition is dismissed as not pressed. The petitioner is directed to surrender before the trial court on or before 08.05.2024 and file an application for bail. It is expected from the trial Court that the bail application will be decided as expeditiously as possible.
Till 08.05.2024, the petitioner shall not be arrested in connection with FIR No.179/2022, registered at Police Station Nai, Dist. Udaipur.
