Judgment
K.C. Gupta, J.—The petitioner has been booked in FIR No. 3 85 dated 3.9.2000 under Sections 420, 468, 471 IPC, registered at Police Station City Sirsa.
The allegation is that one Gobind Pal had submitted a certificate of passing the Senior Secondary examination which later on was found to be fake. On interrogation, Gobind Pal stated that he had taken it from one Dharam Pal son of Munshi Ram for a sum of Rs. 7200/-, Dharam Pal stated that he had taken it from Pawan Kumar and Yash Pal and had given it to Mohinder Kumar after receiving Rs. 7000/-. Yash Pal and Pawan Kumar stated that they had taken it from the petitioner on payment of Rs. 7000/-.
Counsel for the petitioner contended that there is no other evidence to connect the petitioner with the alleged crime except the statements of co- accused Yash Pal and Pawan Kumar. He next contended that the petitioner is in custody for the last about 11 months and has been falsely implicated in this case.
Keeping in view the facts and circumstances of the case and without commenting on the merits of the case, let the petitioner be admitted to bail to the satisfaction of Chief Judicial Magistrate, Sirsa.
