Judgment
Savitri Ratho, J
This is the 2nd journey of the petitioner to this Court praying for bail in connection with C.T. Case No.74 of 2020 arising out of G.R. Case No.369 of 2019 corresponding to Podia P.S. Case No.59 of 2019 for commission of offences punishable under Sections 302/201/34 of IPC, pending in the Court of learned Sessions Judge, Malkanagiri.
Mr. Nanda, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody since 28.11.2019 and his earlier prayer for bail has been rejected in BLAPL No.424 of 2020 while releasing the co-accused persons on bail. He further submits that the trial is still lingering due to non-examination of the Investigating Officer and the doctor.
List this matter in the week commencing 15th May, 2023.
Registry is requested to call for a report from the learned trial Court regarding the stage of the case and reasons for delay in completion of the trial.
Mr.Nanda, learned counsel for the petitioner undertakes to produce the deposition copies of the witnesses who have been examined and supply the same to learned State Counsel before the next date.
