Heard Mr. HS. Paonam, learned senior counsel appearing for the petitioner.
Issue notice.
Miss Niana, learned counsel accepts notice on behalf of the respondents No. 1, 2 & 3. Mr. K. Sathia Kumar, Deputy General Manager of Food Corporation of India, Manipur is also present.
The learned counsel appearing for the respondents seeks time to file counter affidavit and submits that hardship faced by the people of Manipur becomes multiple due to negligence or inability to supply adequate amount of food grains and requested not to pass any interim order.
It is made clear that the respondents should file counter affidavit before the next date of hearing and furnish an advance copy thereof to the learned senior counsel appearing for the petitioner.
In the meantime, the status-quo is to be maintained by both parties regarding issuance of work order dated 06.12.2024 (Annexure - A/4).
The learned senior counsel appearing for the petitioner undertakes to instruct his client i.e. the petitioner herein to supply adequate numbers of trucks as per the indents and allotment given to the petitioner.
List the matter on 07.01.2025 before the Vacation Bench for consideration of interim prayer.
