The petitioner through instant petition under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India is seeking direction to respondent to restore its electricity and water supply.

Mr. Ravish Kaushik, Advocate has filed Power of Attorney on behalf of respondents No.2 and 3. The same is taken on record. Registry is directed to tag the same at an appropriate place.

On 19.02.2026, the following order was passed by this Court:-

“Counsel for the petitioner states that water and electricity supply to the apartments occupied by the petitioner has been disconnected on a complaint given by respondents No.7 and 8 as a civil suit is pending against them. He submits that petitioner has given a complaint to the Consumer Grievance Redressal Forum, which has been established under the Haryana Electricity Regulatory Commission (Forum and Ombudsman) Regulations, 2020, but it is not being taken up.

Advance copy of the petition has been served upon the official respondents.

On asking of the Court, Mr. Deepak Vashisth, Deputy Advocate General, Haryana puts in appearance on behalf of the respondents No.1, 4 and 5 and requests for deferment to get instructions from respondent No.6.

List on 26.02.2026.”

The petitioner has placed on record order dated 09.03.2026 passed by District Registrar, Firms & Societies, Gurugram. By said order, the authorities have been directed not to disconnect or stop electricity supply, water supply or any other basic services to the premises Villa No.121-122, Laburnum Complex, Sushant Lok-1, Gurugram.

Learned counsel for the parties are ad idem that pursuant to aforesaid order of District Registrar, the authorities have restored electricity.

Learned counsel for the respondent-Resident Welfare Association submits that water supply was never stopped and other facilities would not be stopped in view of order dated 09.03.2026 passed by District Registrar.

In the wake of statement of both sides, the petition stands disposed of. It is made clear that disposal of this petition would not be treated as opinion of this Court with respect to dispute of ownership between the parties.
