1.

By this writ petition, a direction is sought for regularising land of Plot No.A4/165 measuring 210 sq. mtr.

2.

A plot was allotted to the petitioner by the respondents vide letter dated 11th June, 2010. The petitioner was directed to pay the amount

detailed out therein. The schedule of payment was also given. It was made clear that if payment is not made within a period of 90 days from the

date of allotment, it shall stand cancelled. The petitioner did not pay the amount as disclosed in the allotment letter. In the year 2013, the petitioner

sent a letter to the Jaipur Development Authority that allotment letter was received by his office but he could not receive it in time and, accordingly,

due amount could not be deposited. Even after a letter dated 13th November, 2013 sent by the petitioner at Annexure-5, no amount was

deposited. In view of the above, allotment of plot was cancelled and I do not find any illegality therein.

3.

It is not allotment of plot free of cost but on consideration. The petitioner was under an obligation to pay the amount but having failing to do so,

the plot was liable to be cancelled even as per terms of the allotment. The period of more than seven years has already passed by now thus

direction for regularisation of plot cannot be given due to default of the petitioner in making payment, that too, even after knowing about it in the

year 2013 though it was received by the petitioner well in time. The writ petition is, accordingly, dismissed.
