Mr. H.S. Paonam, learned senior counsel assisted by Mr. Purvesh Buttan, leaned counsel appearing for the respondents submitted that the review petition has been filed against the order passed by this court which rejected the petition filed by the present review petitioner challenging the order passed by the Trial Court allowing application for amendment filed by the respondent for amendment of his written statement before the Trial Court.
It has been further submitted that since the application filed by the present petitioner before the Trial Court seeking condonation of delay for allowing to file an appeal against the order passed by the Tribunal has already been disposed of, nothing survives for adjudication in this review petition and that this review petition has become infructuous. However, Mr. M. Rarry, learned senior counsel appearing for the review petitioner submitted that he may be permitted to argue this review petition on merit and that if and when this review petition is allowed, it will have an impact in the appeal filed by the present review petitioner before this court challenging the order passed by the Trial Court rejecting the condonation application.
In view of the submission made by the learned counsel appearing for the parties, list these cases again on 25-08-2025.
