The limited prayer made by the learned counsel representing the petitioner is to request the Principal Secretary, Department of Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs, Punjab, to take up the appeal along with an application for interim order for preliminary hearing.
The learned counsel representing the petitioner submits that on 09.06.2023, the appeal along with an application for interim order was filed, however, the same has been listed for 19.07.2023 as per intimation Annexure P-10.
Sh. Deepanjay Sharma, Deputy Advocate General, Punjab, enters appearance for the State of Punjab. He submits that he has no objection, if the Principal Secretary, exercising the powers of second Appellate Authority, is requested to take up the appeal for preliminary hearing before 19.07.2023.
Keeping in view the aforesaid facts, the writ petition is disposed of with a request to the second Appellate Authority to take up the appeal on 30.06.2023 when other cases are stated to be coming up or the next working day.
With these observations, the writ petition is disposed of.
All the pending miscellaneous applications, if any, are also disposed of.
