The above appeal is filed by the appellant who is a Customs Broker against whom an order of prohibition was issued by the Department vide order dated 06.01.2014.
The Ld. counsel Shri Sethuprabakaran appearing for the appellant submitted that subsequent to this order dated 06.01.2014, the license of the Customs Broker has been revoked. Therefore, the present appeal has become infructuous.
The Ld. Authorised Representative Shri N. Satyanarayanan appeared for the Department.
The appeal is filed against the order of prohibition of the operation of Customs Broker license under provision of Regulation 23 of the CBLR, 2013. The main license is issued within the Bangalore Customs Commissionerate and the appellant had been issued license for operations before Chennai Customs also. Taking note that the license has been subsequently revoked, the present appeal has become infructuous. The appeal is therefore dismissed as infructuous.
