Judgment

This is a petition filed under Section 482 of the Cr. P.C. for a direction upon the respondents mandating commanding the State-respondent to unfreeze the bank account No.694905600411, maintained by the petitioner with the ICICI Bank, froze pursuant to the letter dated 03.01.2022 of the respondent No.3, in connection with 2021PNS095 forthwith.
Heard Mr. B.N. Majumder, learned Sr. counsel assisted by Mr. D.J. Saha, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as Mr. S. Debnath, Addl. Public Prosecutor appearing for the State-respondents.
Mr. Bir kishore Tripura, Inspector, Tripura Police (respondent No.3) is present before this Court today and in pursuance of the investigation, he has received relevant records from the petitioner herein. He is duly convinced and satisfied with the investigation and the same has been completed. He further submits before this Court that freezing of the account of the petitioner is no longer required. He has undertaken to further address a letter to the respective bank for unfreezing the account.
His submission is also taken on record and in view of the prevailing situation, this Court is inclined to set aside the impugned freezing order herein and the same is set aside.
With the above observation and direction, this instant petition stands allowed and thus disposed of.
