Judgment

Heard learned counsel for the parties.
The Writ Petition filed by Shri Balaram Chatterji, successor-in-interest of the original lessee had filed W.P.(C) No.22696 of 2012, wherein the present petitioner-M/s. Green Square Infratech Private Ltd. was impleaded as Opposite Party No.8, was disposed of by this Court vide order dated 8th January, 2018 restoring the lease in favour of the L.Rs of the original lessee subject to Confirmation Proceedings pending before the Sub-Collector, Bhubaneswar, while leaving it open for the private Opposite Party Nos.6 & 7, who are subsequent purchasers of the case land from the original lessee to participate in the Confirmation Proceedings. The petitioner appears to have purchased the suit land from the subsequent purchasers i.e. Opposite Party Nos.6 & 7. The competent authority was directed to pass an order after giving opportunity of hearing to the Opposite Party Nos.6 & 7 therein.
The petitioner- M/s. Green Square Infratech Private Ltd., who was the Opposite Party No.8 in W.P.(C ) No.22696 of 2012, wherein the order dated 8th January, 2018 was passed, has filed the present contempt on the ground that Sub-Collector, Bhubaneswar by his order dated 20.02.2020 has proceeded to cancel the allotment of the original lease on the same ground as had been deprecated by this Court in the reasoning portion of the aforesaid order dated 8th January, 2018 and thereby committed contempt of Court.
After arguing for some time, learned counsel for the petitioner prays for permission to withdraw the present contempt.
Accordingly, the CONTC is dismissed as withdrawn.
