MA 332 of 2022 (correction of order)
This application has been filed by the Respondents No.1 and 2 bringing on record the typographical mistake in the final order dated 15.09.2022 of this Commission.
Learned Counsels for both the parties agree that there is a typographical error regarding the date of order of the State Commission in the preamble of the final order wherein the date of order of the State Commission is typed as 22.11.2017 although the correct date of the order is 18.01.2018. No doubt, this is a typographical error which needs correction. Hence, the correction sought is allowed.
It is also submitted that while reproducing the directions of the State Commission in the order dated 15.09.2022, in para (4) the amount as lumpsum compensation towards mental harassment and litigation expenses is typed as ₹5,000/-, although the State Commission had awarded ₹75,000/-.
Learned Counsel for both the parties agree that this is a typographical error. I have also perused the impugned order. This typographical error needs correction. Therefore, in para (4) of the order dated 15.09.2022, the amount of ₹5,000/- shall be read as ₹75,000/-. Fresh order be typed mentioning these corrections.
With these directions, the application stands disposed of.
